L.A. Galaxy reserves defeat Lancaster Rattlers 3-0
Featuring a lineup consisting of first team and reserve players, the Galaxy got off to a great start against their PDL opponents as Jaqua put L.A. in front after 22 minutes. The first-year Galaxy forward got free inside the box and fired a right-footed shot that was saved by the Lancaster keeper. However, Jaqua was the first to track down the rebound and slotted a shot home, putting his team in front 1-0.
Just 13 minutes later, Robbie Findley doubled the Galaxy lead dribbling past a pair of defenders before sliding a right-footed shot home from just eight yards out.
Findley would finish off the scoring late in the match as he converted from the penalty spot after reserve player Johnny Bravo was pulled down inside the Rattlers box.
The Galaxy Reserves open their 2007 MLS Reserve Division schedule on May 13 against the New England Revolution at The Home Depot Center.
