Entering his third season in MLS, Cronin continues to develop and show enormous potential as a goalkeeper. He showed flashes of brilliance in limited duty in 2006 deputizing for Kevin Hartman and will look to continue his development as a goalkeeper under the tutelage of goalkeeper coach Tim Hanley and the newly acquired Joe Cannon in 2007.

MLS Experience

2007: Made his 2007 debut keeping a clean sheet in the Galaxy's 1-0 win @ CLB in the U.S. Open Cup Play-In game on 4/24 ... Made 14 saves in the U.S. Open Cup Play-In Game on 5/8 vs. NY, helping the Galaxy to a 3-1 win. Cronin was booked in the 12th minute of that game and saved the resulting penalty shot from Jozy Altidore ... Played all 90 minutes, making three saves in the 1-0 loss vs. Rangers on 5/23 ... Made his first appearance of the 2007 MLS season, making a regular season career-high of six saves in the 2-1 loss vs. RSL on 9/1.

2006: Stepped into the starting role for four games, tallying a record of 1-3-0 with a 1.25 GAA. Cronin allowed just one goal in each of his final three starts but was unable to come out victorious in any of the three matches. Recorded his first career win on 4/29, making five saves in a 3-2 win over Real Salt Lake. Started 11 of L.A.'s Reserve Division matches, tallying a 4-5-2 record with two shutouts.

2005: Made his MLS debut in a 2-2 tie at Kansas City, making three saves. Was also the Galaxy's starting keeper for a 5-2 Galaxy win in the Fourth Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup against Chivas USA on August 3. A reserve division mainstay for the Galaxy who played in and started 10 games, logging 885 minutes and compiling a 2.20 GAA and a 4-4-2 record.

International

2003: Started all five matches for the U-20 National Team and earned goalkeeper of the tournament at the FIFA World Youth Championships in the United Arab Emirates. Helped lead U.S. to a fourth place finish, the team's highest ever finish at that age group. Trained with Under-23 National Team in Jan. 2004 in preparation for CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying.

2002: Named top Goalkeeper at C.O.T.I.F. XIX Torneig Internacional in Spain.

2001: Played all 270 minutes in goal as U.S. Under-18's won the 2001 International Tournament of Lisbon.

2000: Played 17 games for U-18's, posting a 0.70 goals against average and recording seven shutouts.

1998: Made international debut with U.S. Under-17 National Team against Sweden on Nov. 26, 1998.

College

2003: Started 18 matches, recording 10 shutouts for Santa Clara. Recorded 44 saves and a goals against average of 0.60 for the Broncos. Cronin earned goalkeeper of the year honors and was a First Team All-West Coast Conference selection during his final collegiate season.

2002: Played 820 minutes during regular season, recording two shutouts.

2001: Started 10 games in goal and appeared in six games as a field player. Scored game-winning goal in Broncos 2-1 win against San Diego.

Acquired

From the San Jose Earthquakes, along with defender Todd Dunivant and the Earthquakes first round selection (fifth overall) in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for forward Alejandro Moreno, the rights to defender Chris Aloisi and the Galaxy's first round pick (sixth overall) in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft.
