A strong and technical central defender who was one of the Pac 10's best over the past four years. A first team All-Pac 10 selection each of the past two years and a second team selection in his first two years with the Huskies, Harden helped make Washington a force in college soccer. A third team All-American as a senior in 2006, Harden helped lead the Huskies to the NCAA Tournament three times.

MLS Experience

2007: Made his MLS debut, starting and playing all 90 minutes in central defense in the 0-0 draw @ HOU on 4/8 ... Was shown his first yellow card of the season in the 57th minute of the 1-1 draw @ CHV on 5/20 ... Played the final 28 minutes of the 1-0 loss vs. Rangers on 5/23 after replacing Tyrone Marshall in the 62nd minute ... Made his first start of the year at left back and then later played left back in the 0-0 draw vs. DC on 6/2 ... Was shown his second caution of the season in the 53rd minute of the 3-1 loss @ FCD on 6/9 ... Helped the Galaxy defense keep a clean sheet for the first time early July in the 0-0 draw against Toronto FC on 8/5 ... Collected his third yellow card of the year early in the 5-4 loss @ NY on 8/18 ... Injured his hip in training before the Chivas USA game on 8/23 ... College

2006: Matched his goal output from the previous three seasons combined with a career-high three goals as a senior. Played in all 21 of his team's games while serving as a captain and helping to lead the Huskies to the NCAA Tournament. Helped marshal a backline that produced eight shutouts and allowed an average of one goal per game. Scored his first goal of the year on 9/3 in a 1-0 win over Vermont.

2005: Was named first team All-Pac-10 for the first time in his career, anchoring the UW defense in 16 games.

2004: Started all 20 of his team's games and helped lead UW to the NCAA Tournament. Scored one goal in those 20 games and was named second team All-Pac-10. His goal helped seal a 3-0 win over then No. 3 seed Cal.

2003: Was one of just two freshmen to appear in all 20 games for the Huskies and was one of three players to start all 20. Helped lead UW to the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time ever and was named second team All-Pac-10. Tallied his first career goal, the game-winner, in a 2-0 win over Fresno State on 10/3. Scored his second goal of the season on 10/31 in a win over Stanford.
