College Highlights

2008: Helped lead South Florida to the first BIG EAST Championship in USF history. He started all 23 games on the season for the Bulls, who reached the NCAA Quarterfinals before being eliminated by the then-No. 1 Wake Forest. He scored two goals and added two assists on the season, scoring against Seton Hall and Villanova in BIG EAST play while adding assists against Central Florida and Florida Atlantic. Marshall served as the Bulls’ captain and was a central figure in the club keeping 12 clean sheets in 23 games on the season. He was named as an NSCAA Second Team All-American, NSCAA First Team All-Regions, College Soccer News First Team All- America, First Team All-BIG EAST and was the BIG East Tournament Most Outstanding Defensive Player.

2007: Scored a career-high three goals while starting all 22 games in which he appeared for the Bulls, helping USF reach the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament. He scored his first goal of the season in a 1-1 draw with Florida Atlantic before adding goals in the NCAA Tournament against Colgate and Akron. He was named Second Team All-BIG EAST and NSCAA Second Team All-Region and was a captain for the second straight season.

2006: After being named preseason All-BIG EAST, one of the Bulls’ captains, he was limited to just seven games on the season as a result of injuries, while also missing one game while serving a red card suspension.

2005: Appeared in and started 21 games for the Bulls as a freshman, scoring two goals and adding one assist while helping USF get back to the NCAA Tournament. He scored the first goal of his college career late in a 2-1 overtime win over Cincinnati before adding the game-winner in the BIG EAST quarterfinals against West Virginia as USF reached the BIG EAST final for the first time-ever. He added an assist in the 4-2 win over Villanova and helped the Bulls keep five clean sheets on the season.

National Team

Has represented Trinidad & Tobago at the U-17, U-20 and U-21 level, playing for his country in a number of qualifiers for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Personal

Marshall is the son of Joseph Marshall and Nzingha Salandy. He has two siblings, a sister Canifah and a brother Ajamo. He enjoys listening to music and home cooked food from his native Trinidad and Tobago.
