Kick For Kids: Galaxy v. Toronto FC (April 13, 2008)

Although the LA Galaxy was felled 3-2 versus Toronto during Sunday's game, the fans were not, especially in the Kicks For Kids section. The fun and exiting atmosphere was not deterred by the loss, as several youth organizations and schools took in a Galaxy home game. Their positivity and enjoyment remained, and the children seemed eager to simply take pleasure in watching their favorite team play. One child was apt to say that "It's all about playing soccer," and that it was "cool" to see their idols in person. Even the unusually hot weather, with field temperatures reaching as high as 102 degrees, could not take away from their obvious excitement. Once again, banners were proudly lifted and cheers were non-stop, making Sunday's game the place to be. Once more, the Galaxy Foundation and our Kicks For Kids Community Partners would like to thank all the Kicks For Kids groups in attendance.
