Miss LA Galaxy 2005 - Amanda Lindholm

Professional Ballerina and student at Cal State University of San Bernardino

The Los Angeles Galaxy crowned Amanda Lindholm Miss L.A. Galaxy 2005 on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004 at the Carson Center. Amanda received a $500 cash prize, a $100 gift certificate to Radio Shack, a $50 gift certificate to Kohl's and additional prizes from Cover Girl.

Personal Achievements:
• Graduated from high school when she was 14 years old as a Valedictorian of her senior class.
• Attended the University of Utah on ballet and academic scholarships.
• Will graduate in December with a B.A. in History, Anthropology, and Political Science
• In January will begin her first year of Graduate school at CSUSB

Community Service:
• Began a community campaign to promote heart disease awareness among young women.
• Works with Inland Pacific Ballet to bring the arts to school children in Southern California.
• As a treasurer of her University's Anthropology student club, helps promote cross-cultural diversity.
• Involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, helping with worship, outreach and making their group a welcoming place for new students.
• Interns as an assimilation aid with local Korean-American children.

Hobbies: Poetry, Reading, Dancing, Travel and Watching soccer
