Nothing But Nets

Nothing But Nets is a grassroots campaign to save lives by preventing malaria, a leading killer of children in Africa. Every 30 seconds a child in Africa dies from malaria. However, it has never been easier to help save lives by sending preventative bed nets. One anti-malaria bed net costs just $10 to buy and deliver to individuals in need. One bed net can safely last a family for about four years.

Makita has pledged to save 10,000 lives and is challenging MLS fans across the League to save an additional 1000 lives by joining the Team Up for Nets Challenge.

Team-up with Galaxy Nothing But Nets' Ambassadors Chris Klein and Carlos Ruiz and the Galaxy Foundation by making a $10 contribution to buy one anti-malaria bed net for a child in Africa. Makita will make an additional $5000 to Nothing But Nets on behalf of the team whose fans raise the most.
