Hello Galaxy fans!!!

I can't believe it is already June and how quickly the season is moving. As usual the Miss LA Galaxy Court has been staying busy and visiting soccer fans throughout southern Cali. Recently I attended an AYSO event in Rancho Palos Verdes. Myself along with our fabulous Street Team talked soccer with the kids and provided them with various Galaxy giveaways. The kids were sporting their ever so fashionable blue Galaxy wristbands while collecting their favorite players' player cards.

Unfortunately, our unbeaten streak came to and end on Saturday. However, the fans had a great time and so did us girls. Prior to the game we took part in a photo shoot in our new Miss LA Galaxy uniforms. Make sure to check back shortly as the photos will be up on the site. As for the fans they got to watch the Alumni game feature some of the Galaxy greats like Cobi and Cien. They also got to take part in the Taste of Korea, which featured a Topokki eating contest and sampling.

Can't wait to see all the fans at our upcoming games. Go Galaxy!!!

XOXO,

Nicole

Hi All!

So this last month has been an exciting one. The whole experience that took place in promoting Sueno MLS will remain unforgettable. Being able to do a media tour for a day was very exhilarating for us because it was something new and became a great learning experience. I also received the opportunity to be on the show A Que No Puedes. Which just aired this last Monday. For those of you who are not familiar with the show it is basically a game show and includes a mix of family feud, jeopardy, and fear factor. Yes very interesting, but I had a blast it was La Galaxy vs. Chivas USA and you can only guess who won!?! Yup we did! It was gratifying to know that the money we won on the show was going directly to the Galaxy Foundation.

This week LA Galaxy will face the New York Red Bulls. While the game is sure to be an exciting one, there will be multiple festivities taking place as well. In association with Brit Week Galaxy will be holding their very own Brit Night on Saturday. It will all begin with a British Pub Match, followed by a Celebrity Soccer Match, then Celebrity Autographs, and ending with Live Music of course proceeding to kick off at 7:30pm. Definitely looking forward to it. I'm sure we will have a great time.

Hope to see you there!

Hey Galaxy Fans,

Are you as excited as I am that the season has started? It's been a busy month and I have lots much to share. So here we go...

The first few games have been full of excitement and a great opportunity for the girls and me to meet many of you. I can't wait for the next game.

We are all geared, literally, and can't wait for you to see our new kit- if you haven't already. If you have seen them then you know what I'm talking about- a new personalized jersey (that is too cool for school) and a new uniform that fits perfect from head to toe :) We hope that they look as good as we feel in them.

Not only that, but we've been all around Southern California and hope you caught at least one of our appearances. From TV and radio, to La Opinion and the Sueño MLS tryouts in San Bernardino, the girls and I are keeping busy. One of us even participated on a game show against Chivas USA!!! I am glad to announce that our own Katrina G. was part of the winning team against Chivas USA on the KRCA 62's hit game show "¡A Que No Puedes!"

Be sure to join us at our next game- and if you can't, don't worry, we will be sure to keep you updated on all our latest news.

Until next time,

Sam

Hey Galaxy Fans,

Ok, Definitely excited for the season to start!! Knowing that the home opener is a little over a month away from now gets me so anxious because I know that means it is another day closer to meeting all of you! Not to mention that the Pan Pacific Championship Tournament is just around the corner-this year is going to be full of excitement!

The past weeks have been really busy for the court and I. We have been attending AYSO All Star championship tournaments, which have been so worthwhile to watch! Being there with the street team makes the day that more exciting because we are able to interact with the players as they practice kicking soccer balls into the inflatable goal or spin the wheel to earn a prize. For all these reasons I LOVE SOCCER GAMES!

With that said, and like mentioned before, I can not wait to interact with all of you Galaxy Fans! It is going to be an amazing experience for sure!

Till next time,

Katrina Lopez- Miss LA Galaxy 2009 :-)

Hello Fellow Galaxy Fans!

This entire experience has been amazing so far. We've done so many exciting things that will remain unforgettable. I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the most fun and passionate fans out there. All of the events have been fantastic, but my favorite one so far was going to the Children’s Hospital and handing out teddy bears that we dressed up as soccer players. There was a group of us who went which included some of the Miss LA Galaxy girls, the amazing staff, and a few of the talented players. It was refreshing to see pro athletes getting involved off the field and in the community. Seeing the look on those kids faces and the moments shared will be cherished forever.

We have also been going out to AYSO tournaments around the area and have met our talented youth soccer players of the future. It's been fun hanging with the other MLAG girls, the galaxy family which have been very convivial, and of course the fans you guys are awesome! It’s such a great atmosphere to be a part of we all have one thing in common WE LOVE SOCCER AND THE GALAXY!!!

***I look forward to meeting more of you who come out to the events and games***

Ho, ho, ho,

Well, it's that time of the year again - time for shopping, eating, decorating, and enjoying the holidays with family and friends.

This has been a very exciting time of the year and I have had the pleasure of meeting so many new and wonderful people at the various events we have been attending. Last week I was fortunate enough to attend our annual holiday event where we spent the evening creating snowflakes and snowmen with a splendid group of kids from the community. The kids were a bundle of joy and it was so cute to see the looks of joy on their faces when they met the players that were in attendance. The laughter and smiles were endless that evening and I can't wait until our next event in 2009.

I would like to thank all of the fans and Galaxy staff for making these past few months an amazing experience. I'm truly proud to be a part of the Galaxy family and I look forward to spending the upcoming season with each and every one of you. I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy New Year and we'll see you in 2009!!!

XOXO,

Nicole

Happy holidays everyone,

I hope that you are enjoying this busy time of year. I know I have and so far being a part of the court has been amazing! Lately we've had the pleasure of participating in parades which are quite eventful and let me tell you that riding on top of a car waving is not that easy. :) My favorite event by far has been the Foundations Feast! We played with kids, met fans, and of course ate some great food!

Everything is going so well and I can't wait for the season to start on March 22. Get your tickets so we can meet you and we'll all cheer on the Galaxy together!

I know I can speak for all four of us and say thank you to all the fans and Galaxy staff for their warm welcome and support. It's going to be a great year!

Hey Galaxy fans,

What a busy start...after recovering from the total shock being crowned Miss LA Galaxy 2009 I was anxious to become more acquainted with my court. Sam, Nicole and Karina are way cool and are ready to get down to business. How lucky am I to have been blessed with such a motivated team of ladies!

The first couple of events have been so fulfilling. We have had the chance to interact and converse with dedicated fans like Kevin and his wife Adrianna. I have also had the privilege of speaking with Mr. Van Duin and his dad, I have assured them that my court and I are going to do whatever it takes to make them and the community proud.

One of the best events so far as been the Treats-N-Suites Halloween bash at The Home Depot Center. At the event we assisted hundreds of kids in creating trick or treat bags and decorating cookies.

Overall everything has been moving smoothly and productively and I am so excited to meet each and every one of you at one of our Galaxy games or community events.

Signing off till next time,

Katrina
