IDENTIFY, DEVELOP & REALIZE
OVERVIEW:
The LA Galaxy Rios presented by Adidas, the club's official youth development program, is designed to identify, develop and realize the Galaxy stars of tomorrow. The Galaxy Rios provides a path for young soccer players in the Los Angeles area to become professionals by placing them in a unique environment with a curriculum that challenges and educates, on and off the field. The Galaxy Rios program is focused on producing professional soccer players - wins and losses are secondary.
Featuring Under-16, Under-18 and Under-20 teams, Galaxy Rios allows the Galaxy to identify and train the best young talent in the region. Galaxy assistant coach Trevor James oversees all aspects of the Galaxy Rios program as the club's Director of Player Development.
